The ACICORK project has presented its progress to the cork sector within the framework of FICOR the International Cork Fair, held this year from April 22 to 24, 2026, in San Vicente de Alcántara (Badajoz, Spain).
On April 23 and 24, the project’s developments were showcased in sessions led by Mariola Sánchez González, researcher at ICIFOR-INIA (CSIC), who presented the main results and ongoing lines of work.
FICOR has once again established itself as a key meeting point for professionals in the cork sector, bringing together companies, researchers, specialists and forest owners over three days. The event featured a wide range of activities, including technical sessions, tastings, exhibitions, craft workshops, and nature-based activities.
